A PROUD HISTORY OF PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES FOR TODDLERS TO TEENS
Founder and Director of LA Talent performing arts studio since 1971.
Liliana Maddams began her dance career in her teenage years as a member of the Queensland Ballet Company.
She then utilised her teachers dance qualifications – gained through completing numerous dance examinations, many with Honours – through the British Ballet Organisation, Royal Academy of Dance and Society of Australian Teachers of Dance in Ballet, Tap and Jazz – to inspire other young dancers, as a celebrated teacher, to 1000’s of students over 25 years.
No longer teaching dance, Liliana now oversees the dance education of each and every student who attends her studio.
As a complimentary venture, Liliana is also the co-Director of Plastic Wax Animation studios – one of the worlds leading animation studios working with Disney, Universal studios, Warner bros and other major studios throughout the world.
Since it’s inception, LA Talent Schools, under Liliana’s direction, has engaged, impassioned and educated tens of thousands of dancers to achieve their dance dreams – no matter how uniform or elaborate – many students going on to make successful careers with leading roles in key musicals, dance companies and theatre productions.
ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR STUDENTS
Some achievements and notable performances of our L.A. Talent students include:
- Winners of the Australian Hip Hop Championships and the McDonalds City of Sydney Eisteddfod
- Performances alongside some of America’s best dance crews such as: Jabbawockeez, Pereotics, Super Crew, Kaba Modern as well as Australia’s Justice Crew and SKB.
- Part of well-known events such as Looze Control, The Australian Dance Festival, Kids Day Out and Kids Carnival
- Part of the biggest corporate event for Amway – choreographed by Jason Coleman
- Featured in TV commercials and television shows such as the ABC Dance Academy, Nickelodeon’s All for Kids and the Young Talent Time promo for Channel 10.
- One of the children from our dance class in Sydney, Emily Roach, appeared in the production of Annie.
